As you are suffering from loss of sensations from lower body, it indicates a problem of nerves that carry signals to brain. The cause behind your complaints is likely a compression of spinal nerves, due to which you are unable to feel anything after long rest. In certain positions, your spinal nerves might be getting compressed, which is causing the complains you are describing. There can be several reasons to cause nerve compression or nerve injuries. Which include: herniated disc, pressure on peripheral nerves, multiple sclerosis of spine, lack of blood supply to the area, nerve damage due to lead, tobacco, alcohol, etc. Other causes may include abnormal levels of electrolytes, lack of vit B12 or other vitamins, use of certain medication. The symptom you are describing can have multiple causes. It is very necessary to evaluate it properly and to find out the exact cause behind it. After which, you can start with management for it. For this, you may need to visit an Orthopedic physician. However, you can reduce your complaint by proper physical exercise. After getting up in the morning, you should start moving your foot gently in all direction, then try to flex the knee, and finally try to take your knee towards your chest. Do this exercise for some time, then try to walk on floor slowly. This may help you to become normal in a short time. But to treat it properly, you need to consult a specialist.
