Q I am a type 2 diabetic, doctor started with a once a day insulin shots, most oral meds causes bad reaction. Work graveyard off weekends, sleeping pattern changes also. Any suggestion on snacks, and main meals?

You should opt for more dark green and deep yellow vegetables, such as spinach, broccoli, romaine, carrots, and peppers. Fruits have more fiber. Citrus fruits, such as oranges, grapefruits, and tangerines, are best. Be consistent. Meals and snacks should be eaten at the same times each day. Do not skip meals and snacks. Keep the amount and types of food (carbohydrates, fats, and proteins) consistent from day to day. Take care.
