Q How do you now if you have leukeimia?
Hello. Kindly note that, there are many types of leukemia which show no obvious symptoms early in the disease. So, leukemia may be diagnosed incidentally during a physical exam or as a result of routine blood testing. There are some symptoms which are suggestive of the condition like- If a person appears pale, has enlarged lymph nodes, swollen gums, an enlarged liver or spleen, significant bruising, bleeding, fever, persistent infections, fatigue, or a small pinpoint rash, the doctor should suspect leukemia. Final diagnosis is done by the blood test which shows increase in the number of the white cells. To confirm the disease, bone marrow biopsy is done.
