Your stomach pain when associated with symptoms like burning, hyperacidity, indigestion, abdominal discomfort etc ulcers are . Pain is present on intake of food. A peptic ulcer is a break in the inner lining of the esophagus, stomach, or duodenum. A peptic ulcer of the stomach is called a gastric ulcer; and that of the duodenum is known as a duodenal ulcer. Peptic ulcers occur when the lining of these organs is corroded by the acidic digestive (peptic) juices which are secreted by the cells of the stomach. Kindly avoid smoking and drinking. Avoid caffeinated drinks. Keep your food timings and sleeping habbits on time. Continue with your low chilly and veg diet; if it is helping. The diagnosis of an ulcer is made by either a barium upper gastrointestinal X-ray (upper GI series) or an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy (EGD or esophagogastroduodenoscopy). H. pylori is probably spread by consuming food or water contaminated with fecal matter. This may show similar symptoms of gastric ulcers as ulcers can be formed in this condition too. Blood, breath and stools test may help you to confirm the diagnosis for H. pilori. If the symptoms are gone with your diet by doctors suggestion the diagonosis of ulcer may be right in your case. You need to conult your doctor regarding the further tests.
