Q I got hurt on my left testes 2 days ago around 1300 Hours, it pained a lot at that time like every male feels when he gets hurt there. After 5 minutes, I got rid off that pain like everyone does. As the day progressed, I felt something uncomfortable there. When I lied on to the bed that night, I felt something swollen just above my left testes. It was painless, like an oval ball. I was also suffering from fever. Next day when I woke up, swelling increased and a dull pain was there. I also masturbated to check my sperm. The sperm wasnt affected but my urine was yellowish in color. I slept whole day as I was suffering from fever. Today when I woke up I felt that swelling has increased and comparatively more pain than yesterday. But now at evening, I am feeling much relaxed and less pain but the swelling is same as it was in the morning. I can walk properly, sleep properly or even sit properly, but I feel discomfort because of swelling. My age is 20. Is that something to worry?
The testicles are very sensitive, and even a minor injury can cause testicle pain or discomfort. A sudden injury or blow to the testicles has caused you this pain. Testicle pain may start in the testicle itself or in the coiled tube at the back of the testicle (epididymis). But the swelling and fever in your case may not be related with the injury caused to you by blow. Infection can cause the lymph nodes to enlarge and as a result of body defence mechanism fever is also seen. As the fever is reduced, swelling of lymph nodes should also reduce eventually. If the lump is not reduced, consult a doctor to rule out the cause and treatment.
