Q My age is 22 and my weight is 65 and my height is 5.1. So please help me how to reduce my weight and my arms and buttocks are big. So please help me out in this. I wont have heavy breakfast also.
Diseases such as PCOD, hyperthyroidism, diabetes etc contribute to weight gain. So if you are suffering from any of these, you need to keep them in control. Your ideal weight should fall between 51 kgs - 55 kgs. A healthy diet and regular exercise are essential for weight reduction. Divide your meals into 6 small meals. Have something healthy and filling every 3 hours rather than 3 full meals. Do not starve yourself, it leads to bingeing later. Have a healthy breakfast daily without fail. It helps in kick starting your metabolism. Not having breakfast makes your metabolism sluggish as a result of which you burn lesser calories throughout the day. Cut out all junk food, fried food, sweets, ghee etc from your diet. Include plenty of fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Consume healthy fats like nuts, olive oil etc. Take a glass of lukewarm water, add a spoonful of honey and lemon and drink it early morning. Add sprouts and salads in lunch and dinner. Switch to green tea twice daily. Drink plenty of fluids. Have your dinner at least 2 hours before bedtime. Increase your overall physical activity. Practice any form of exercise for 60 minutes daily. You can choose brisk walking, dancing, gymming etc. Your aim should be to reduce 1/2 to 1 kg per week.
