Q Im just worried because my generation is diabetic and i am worried that i might have diabetes too. I eat really healthy! I workout almost everyday. I like to do balance workouts, martial arts, jog, and ab work. I used to be very over weight, i lost more than, but i am still worried though.
Diabetes is a disease condition which can be transferred genetically from generation to generation. And as you said, you are overweight, which is one of the major risk factor, it is very necessary for you to take the preventive measures. You must work out on your weight just by not exercising but regulating your food intake. You should take more fibrous food like leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts etc. Eat fruits which are rich source of vitamins, fibres and antioxidant all of which help in maintaining your health. Avoid fatty foods and any bad habits like smoking and drinking if any; because they are again the risk factors.
