What are these ? anything harmful as I am just 24. please help me how to get back to normal
Lordosis means the inward curve of the spine. The causes of this are- poor posture, a congenital (present at birth) problem with the vertebrae, neuromuscular problems, weakness in muscles etc. The main symptom of lordosis is a prominence of the buttocks. Here are some tips for you- 1. Sit with erect posture. Do not sit for a long time, take a walk in between. 2. Try to reduce your body fat if any. Eat less junk food/soda, less carbohydrates, and more whole foods (beef, chicken, tuna, veggies). 3. Exercise to strengthen your back. 4. Stretch your Hip flexor muscles. 5. When you must lift, bend your knees and flex from your hips. Dont let your spine slump. 6. Stand or sit tall without slumping or arching your back too much. Slouching and slumping increases stress on your back. 7. Take a sunbath in the early morning to get calcium. It is a curable disease, so do not take any stress. Keep regular follow ups with an orthopedic doctor as well as a physiotherapist.
