Q Hi i am 23 year old female, working as a medical representative. I am suffering from hair loss from the past 6 months. Im not using any oils to my hair.
Common causes leading to hair fall are lack of proper nutrition, ageing, hormonal changes, stress, heredity, prolonged illness, medication etc. Here are some simple guidelines that you can follow to reduce hair fall: Always be gentle with your hair, don~t over comb or tie in tight rubber bands. Protect your hair from the sun and pollution. Refrain from frequent straightening, curling, colouring hair. Get an oil massage once a week. Trim split ends once every 2 months Hair should be washed 2/3 times every week. Always use a gentle shampoo followed by a conditioner. Do not wash hair with very hot water. Do not comb hair while it is wet. Apart from these tips, it is essential to follow a hair friendly diet rich in proteins and vitamins; such as seafood, walnuts, carrots, peas, eggs, green leafy vegetables, milk and plenty of water.
