Q Sinusitis problem. Pain near nose and fore head all the time after every change of season. Taken many anti histaminics and cold tablets but all in vain i am not able to concentrate in work
Several conditions can trigger attacks of sinusitis such as recurrent colds, nasal polyps, dental infections, deviated nasal septum, cystic fibrosis, smoking etc. Poor immunity status facilitates repeated attacks of sinusitis. Treatment consists of correcting the underlying cause. Stop smoking completely. If you have identified any factors which trigger an infection, try to avoid them e.g ice creams. Work on building your immunity through a healthy diet and regular exercise. Steam inhalation can help relieve the congestion. If your symptoms are very severe or persistent, you can also consider surgical options. Explore alternative therapies like Homoeopathy and naturopathy.
