Q Hi doc, i have just one ovary in the left side, can i have a chance to get pregnant?
Yes. There are chances of you getting pregnant. Female with one ovary can become pregnant normally, if the remaining one is functioning normally and healthy eggs are produced by it. In normal female, with two ovaries, egg is produced alternately by each ovary, during monthly menstrual cycle. But in case, one ovary is removed or become non-functional by any means, the other keep on producing enough hormones and regularly release an egg. So, there should be no difficulty in getting pregnant with one ovary, if you are healthy otherwise and does not have any other major health issues.
