There are many factors that can affect color of your teeth. However, you can get white teeth altering some of your habits: Clean your teeth thoroughly to prevent any build up making your teeth yellow. You can use dental flosses for same. It is a good habit to wash your mouth thoroughly whenever you eat. You can use any whitening toothpaste to brush your teeth. Try to choose ADA approved toothpaste. You can use baking soda to brighten the color of your teeth. Wet your toothbrush and deep it in solution of baking soda. Brush with this for 2 minutes, rinse your mouth thoroughly after its use. Use mouth wash if necessary. You can only use this method once or twice a week, not too often. Ask your dentist before using it. Avoid any food or beverages that can stain your teeth, like red meat, soda, coffee, wine and importantly tea. Tea contains tannin in it, which can stain your teeth yellow. Limit your tea intake to once a day. Often eat natural teeth cleansers like apples, carrots, celery, as they help cleansing your teeth thoroughly by removing plaques. Eating strawberries or rubbing cut end of strawberries on your teeth will naturally help to lift up the yellow plaques. Keep regular follow ups with your dentist to avoid yellow tanning further.
