Q i have pain in between my chest... wht does this show?
Chest pain can be due to variety of reasons starting from simple hyper acidity to much severe and mostly fatal, cardiac chest pain. Reason for chest pain can be evaluated on the basis of exact location of it, nature of the pain, severity of it, any other associated complaint with it, and previous history of a patient. The chest pain you are describing is very vague and it is very difficult to show a pinpoint reason for this. Chest pain in the middle of chest can have some common reasons, like: hyper acidity, stomach ulcer, gall stones, esophagus related problems, inflammation of tendons or joints of ribs, strain of muscles between the ribs, Inflammation of linings covering heart or lungs, Pneumonia or any infection in lungs, pain due to angina, which is originated from heart. To evaluate the cause of chest pain correctly, one should see all the above described criteria.
