Q Tinnitus: permanent for the past 6 months. Recurrent severe headaches, rapid heartbeat, unable to sleep, and occasionally have high blood pressure with recurrent dizziness & nausea and sometimes associated with vomiting. This frequency has increased during the past 1 yr. I have been seeing ent specialists and had been through various tests including mri but the cause was never diagnosed and thus the symptoms & sufferings have prevailed despite taking different medicines. A recent test showed stones in the kidney and gallbladder (the gallbladder stone has been there for some years)
Persistent tinnitus is often caused by an ear disorder or other diseases. If it becomes a permanent problem, it usually causes some loss of hearing. If the ringing in the ears has a pulsing sound, it may be due to a cardiovascular disorder. Possibilities include high blood pressure, hardening of the arteries, or an aneurysm.Tinnitus is a symptom in itself. Tinnitus may be associated with loss of sleep, Irritability, Dizziness or vertigo, Nausea or Vomiting, etc. Kidney stones can occur as a result of high blood pressure. This is because the part of your kidney involved in concentrating the solutes in your urine to way above that of normal tissue relies on a normal level of blood pressure. The high concentration is washed out resulting in the body not being able to concentrate the urine as effectively. This results in an increase in water being passed. As water passing into the urine carries other solutes with it such as calcium, sodium, chloride, and other important ions the pressure on the collecting areas of the kidney are increased. A build up of these ions, in particular calcium contribute to kidney stones. I advise you to monitor your blood pressure very frequently and treatment will depend on size and location of stones. Meanwhile you can follow these guide lines: Restrict your salt intake, do regular walking for atleast 30 mins, stay hydrated.
