Q I am suffering from gas pain for the past 5 days. I am taking pan-d, rabakind-dsr, ganaton etc but there is no relief. After lunch my pain will start. My motion is not clear for past 2 days.
Pain immediately after eating is suggestive of gastritis, peptic ulcer, gastroenteritis, acid reflux, gall stones, etc. Since your current medication is not working, you must revisit the physician for a change in prescription. Along with medications try and make following changes: Drink boiled water. Avoid all kinds of outside food. Eat simple, home-cooked, easy to digest meals. Do not eat too much at once. Have 5-7 small meals after every 3 hours. Avoid spicy, raw and under cooked food. However, you must have plenty of fruit. If your condition does not improve within a few days, you may need to undergo further investigations like USG or an endoscopy.
