Hello. The anatomical structure you are describing, seems to be a normal structure. The membrane which you can make out seems like unbroken hymen. Hymen is a memmbrane made of elastic thin tissue layer and elasticity increases when you go through your puberty. At the time of first intercourse, hymen may break or get stretched outward. In many females it just get stretched out. Though it is painful at first attempt of vaginal intercourse, the pain is not intolerable, it can be compared to period pain. You can easily bear it and even if hymen get torned, it heals quickly. So there is no need to get scared. You will enjoy intercourse, if you keep your fears aside. For the first time, it is advisable to use a lubricating jelly to make intercourse easier. After having sex twice or thrice, you will not feel any kind of pain, only pleasure.
