Q Hello, Myself 27 years old male, M suffering from pain in the anal opening, I can feel some swelling kind of thing near the opening. I had gone through a surgery some 13-14 years back. Now again I dont want to go for a surgery again. Please help me out.
Please mention whether you have any bleeding. Does the swelling remain constant or does it recede intermittently? Do you suffer from constipation? Any relation of the pain with passage of stools? The probable causes of your complaint can be haemorrhoids, rectal prolapse, proctitis or rectal abscess. However, you should get examined by a physician to make the final diagnosis. Many of the above conditions can be treated with medical therapy, hence you may not have to opt for surgery.
