Q I am suffering from piles including bleeding & pain, please advice.
Hemorrhoids can often be effectively dealt with by dietary and lifestyle changes. Softening the feces and avoiding constipation by having high fiber diet. Fruit, leafy vegetables, and wholegrain breads and cereals are good sources of fiber, as are bulk laxatives. Also exercise, losing excess weight, and drinking six to eight glasses a day of water or another liquids like fruit juices will help. Choose option of water for cleaning anal area rather than tissue paper, use mild soap to avoid irritation, wiping out with soft wet tissue will irritate less. Pain can be lessen by sitting in warm tub for 20 mins which will relieve the pain. Treatment depends on degree of piles if you have only internal or first degree piles it can be resolve by dietary modification and changing lifestyle. If piles are prolapsed to second and third degree than surgery can be the option to relieve the suffering.
